I am a senior vocal music major with minors in disability studies and cognitive science, currently applying to graduate programs for music therapy. I am from Port Washington, NY and attended Paul D. Schreiber High School prior to being a student at the University of Delaware. On campus, I am very involved in the greek community, currently holding the position of Vice President of Philanthropy and Service on Panhellenic Council, as well as my a cappella group, DelReMi. For the past two years through Panhellenic Council I have worked very closely with the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation to raise money and help with their mission to break the education barrier which has sparked my passion and dedication to making sure women around the world have the opportunity to receive an adequate education. On top of all of my commitments, I find it extremely essential to make time for the people in your life who are important to you and strongly value time spent with my friends and family.
FAITH AUSFRESSER
I am a junior Human Resources major with minors in Spanish and International Business. I am from Springfield, Pennsylvania and graduated from Merion Mercy Academy in 2016. In the future, I would love to work in the Corporate Social Responsibility sector of a business since I am extremely passionate about volunteerism and community service. Women’s education is a topic that is near and dear to my heart since I spent most of my high school career learning how education can impact a girl’s life at a young age and how it could eventually break the cycle of poverty. I believe every woman should have the opportunity to go to school and become self-sufficient. On campus, I am a member of Alpha Kappa Psi which is the professional business fraternity at University of Delaware. In my free time, I love to go the beach in New Jersey or Delaware with my friends and family.
LAUREN BAMBACH
I am a senior accounting major at the University of Delaware. I am from Haverford, Pennsylvania, and I attended Merion Mercy Academy for high school. Coming from an all-girls high school, I often learned about the limited access to education that many women around the world experience, and such gender inequality within education became a topic that I have been very passionate about. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. I have been to Italy and London, where I studied abroad while at UD, and I look forward to traveling more in the future.
